Tamara Berger

Tamara Faith Berger has been practicing yoga for twenty-five years. She learned Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from Ron Reid and Diane Bruni and studied in Downward Dog Yoga Centre’s first ever teacher training programme. Tamara learned yoga in a sequential, experiential and hands-on fashion and she loves to share the essence of practice as she learned it, always making it accessible for pregnant practitioners, older people and people with different needs.

In Self-Practice, Tamara works one-on-one with students, giving adjustments and encouraging deep and ongoing learning. In her led ‘Yoga’ classes, Tamara creates a vigorous and approachable flow of postures based on the Ashtanga system. She doesn’t have a favourite yoga pose because she likes it all: Downward Facing Dog, Cobra, Headstand, Forearm Stand, Seated Twists, Eagle, Warrior Three, King Pigeon and Wheel.
