Born in Manila, raised in Toronto, Carla completed her first yoga teacher training in Thailand, and shortly after found her voice to teach yoga with confidence. Carla’s classes will encourage you to get intimate with your body and mind. Her time spent adjusting students in their self-practice gives her a different approach to led classes, providing modifications to help achieve their personal goals.
Eager to learn more, she completed her first Pilates teacher training with Leslie Parker at Mindful Movement Centre. Leslie focused on therapeutic methods of rehabilitating injuries which inspired Carla to teach in a more meaningful way. She strives to empower her students to strengthen and care for their bodies, helping them develop a Pilates practice to support their unique bodies and physically demanding lifestyles. You can look forward to increased joint mobility as well as an overall sense of calm and balance in Carla’s Pilates and yoga classes.
