Rachel is a movement teacher and teacher trainer. The magic of mind-body connection changed the course of her life, and she’s driven to stir that up in others. Rachel has educated herself in different schools of movement in order to have multiple languages to reach people. In our sedentary culture, whatever it is that sparks something inside a person to shift, that’s the ember she’ll keep fanning. She’s turned off by the idea of movement as exercise, and is interested in how we can bridge gaps between healing the body/mind/spirit in a class setting, and taking that strength into daily life to change on a bigger scale.
Rachel’s movement education includes Downward Dog Yoga Centre’s 250hr YTT, MisfitMethod Fusion and Reformer, Body Harmonics 115hr Pilates Mat Work, Yoga Detour 200hr TT, and Essentrics Level 1.
Her classes combine depth & lightness, challenge & playfulness and rules & rebellion. The goal is to shake things up, to experience a shift, and carry that out into the world!
