Monica has been a passionate and enthusiastic Yoga student since 2006. She began her journey with breathing and meditation and her background in dancing and love for movement took her naturally to discover Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. She fell in love with the practice and its benefits and began teaching in 2010.

In 2011 she joined the the Ashtanga Centre of Toronto, assisting the Mysore practice and guiding beginners into the Ashtanga tradition. She has established a daily traditional Mysore practice and has studied with teachers like Laurie Campbell, Ron Reid, David Robson, Ty Landum, Laruga Glaser and Sharath Jois. Monica practice now under the kind and wise guidance of Ron Reid and she feels a profound gratitude for her teachers and the yoga community that supports her life.

Besides her yoga teachings, Monica is a Certified Rolfer working with body alignment and structure, better posture and alleviating pain.
