Ella Isakov discovered yoga over a decade ago while living and working as a teacher in Japan. Upon returning in 2007, she completed her teacher training at Downward Dog Yoga Centre where she continues to practice under the guidance of Ron Reid and other Mysore teachers. Ella also received certifications from Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller, restorative yoga teacher training with Judith Lasater, advanced teacher training with Ana Forrest, and she is a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. Ella is also grateful for the wisdom of Seane Corn, Suzanne Sterling and Rod Stryker.
Ella feels that yoga found her and is incredibly grateful for the beautiful gifts she continuously discovers and cultivates on her journey that guides her through the ebb and flow of life. Her passion and purpose in life has always been to inspire others to uncover their inner knowing and light within. Ella provides a warm and attentive environment, giving special attention to individual needs and empowering students to go within and move to their edges through breath and movement. Her classes are challenging yet inclusive, exploring sequencing and themes to grow and cultivate inner wisdom and connection between body, mind and spirit.
